CRIBA PROFILE

The Regional Centre for Environmental Well Being (CRIBA) is a service centre providing regular information and consultancy services as well as specialized training to the public and private professionals in the field of accessibility and design for all.
CRIBA is managed by CERPA Italia (European Centre for Research and Promotion of Accessibility), a non-for profit association, gathering professionals such as lawyers, architects, engineers and psychologists active in promoting and spreading the culture of accessibility. CERPA provides the expertise for the advice and consultancy as well as for the educational area.
CERPA has currently established three CRIBA model based centres. The network is operating in Tuscany, Emilia Romagna and Friuli Venezia Giulia.

CRIBA’s commitment is to promote independent living of persons with disabilities via enhancing accessibility of the environment. Therefore the scope of its activities ranges from housing to transport and travelling, to cover all the aspects of each individual’s life.
